Given the uncertain times are in and the fact we don't know if another lockdown if pending, we thought we should get Christmas shopping started early. We decided to set up our very own Virtual Christmas Market.
Our goal with the tavern has always been to give back to the community that have been with us for the journey. This is a win/win project as we are able promote our members small businesses but also give great deals to Taverners at the same time. The one thing we have found about Taverners is that they ar very loyal to the Tavern and love to support other members, whether that be from a mental health point of view, or helping to support each others businesses.
The first thing businesses asked us was how much it would cost to advertise? The short answer, nothing! we just wanted to give people a platform to help grow their sales during these difficult times. All we asked is that they provided a promo code for our members so they could get a discount or free gift etc.
As soon as we launched we received an influx of new requests for a stall on the Christmas Market. We will be adding new stalls throughout October and November, then starting in December we have our fantastic Advent Calendar.
Our stall holders have kindly donated prizes for the advent calendar and members can enter into the prize draw for FREE simply by subscribing to our website.
