Happy St George's Day 🏴🌹🐉
St George has been celebrated as the patron saint of England since the 14th century. He was born in the third century in Cappadocia, Turkey and became a high-ranking soldier in the Roman army. After converting to Christianity, St George protested against the army’s harsh treatments of Christians, which led to him being sentenced to death. His torture and execution made him a Christian martyr and St George was canonized as a saint by Pope Gelasius I. St George grew in populari

🐣🌼 Easter Greeting's 🌼🐣
Wishing all our members Easter, Passover and Ramadan Greetings. ✝️✡️☪️❤️ Easter is one of the principal holidays, or feasts, of Christianity and this year falls on Sunday 17th April. It marks the Resurrection of Jesus three days after his death by crucifixion. For many Christian churches, Easter is the joyful end to the Lenten season of fasting and penitence. The tradition of Easter eggs originated in a Pagan springtime celebration. Eggs symbolise new life for Pagans, and so

💐💐Happy Mother's Day💐💐
27th March 2022 What is a Mother? A mother is someone to shelter and guide us,
To love us, whatever we do,
With a warm understanding and infinite patience,
And wonderful gentleness, too.
How often a mother means swift reassurance
In soothing our small, childish fears,
How tenderly mothers watch over their children
And treasure them all through the years. The hearth of a mother is full of forgiveness
For any mistake, big or small,
And generous always in helping her family

💁♀️International Women's Day💁♀️
You might have seen International Women's Day mentioned in the media or heard friends talking about it. 🌸 International Women's Day, also known as IWD for short, grew out of the labour movement to become an annual event recognised by the United Nations. 🌸 International Women's Day was first celebrated in 1911, in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland. The centenary was celebrated in 2011, so this year we're technically celebrating the 111th. 🌸 Things were made official

Shrove Tuesday 'Pancake Day' 🥰🥞
Today is also Shrove Tuesday or Pancake day. 🥞 Shrove Tuesday, the day immediately preceding Ash Wednesday (the beginning of Lent in Western churches). It occurs between February 2 and March 9, depending on the date of Easter. Shrove, derived from shrive, refers to the confession of sins as a preparation for Lent, a usual practice in Europe in the Middle Ages. Although the day is sometimes still used for self-examination and introspection, Shrove Tuesday eventually acquired
